milkweed seed 6Thinking back over my life the Law of Attraction was working its wonders constantly, both negatively and positively. What I felt and thought definitely manifested physically around and within me. At the time, I didn’t want to believe that. I wanted to blame everyone and everything else, believing I had no choice in the matter. How wrong I was! Choices abound, no matter your situation. It’s like being at a crossroads of every second of your life. You have the choice to be positive or negative, to be happy or sad, to feel helpless or powerful, to stay or to go, left or right, relapse or proceed…….the choices are endless. No one can make you feel a certain way, only you have that choice. It doesn’t matter if someone is yelling criticism at you…you can choose to ignore and rise above or you can choose to cower, believing everything they are yelling at you. The choice is and always was…yours!

The same goes for every event in your life, every material possession, every person….basically everything in your life. It was created by you. You thought something, put feeling behind it and Voila…….like a genie, it manifests in your life.

The following eighteen weeks are going to prove that the Law of Attraction is working, that the Field of Possibilities surrounds us and that source is always there, waiting for us to catch up. (And if you haven’t figured it out yet, they are all the same thing…)

When I first picked up E-Squared by Pam Grout, I was hooked. I found it all so exciting. I couldn’t put the book down. I started the experiments right away and was laughing (and sometimes screaming with delight) that they were all proving to work. I felt so fantastic that I wanted to share it with everyone and so with Pam Grout’s blessings, “The 18 Week Journey” was born.

If you don’t own the books, you really will benefit from reading them. You don’t have to buy them (I do sell them though), you can borrow them from the library. However, if you don’t have them, I guarantee a couple of experiments later and you will find a way to get your hands on a copy.

Each week, I will list the experiment straight out of Pam Grout’s E-Squared or E-Cubed books. I will give a brief explanation of it, sometimes using Pam’s own words and then list my previous experience with that particular experiment. The following week we will have a look at your experiences as well as my own and then list the next and so forth.

The first experiment involves just asking the ‘field of possibilities’, ‘source’, or whatever you like to call it, to give you a sign that it exists. You should give it 48 hours. Make sure to be on the lookout and take note of anything that is a sign for you. My first time doing this experiment, I had read the first chapter and decided to take my gorgeous Golden Retriever “Bella” for a walk. Whilst on the walk I came across a milkweed seed (I think that’s what they are called) caught in a massive web. I remember thinking, “Could this be the sign?” and dismissed it. Then when I got home, I went out to hang out my washing. While I was hanging out the washing a milkweed seed flew past and I thought to myself, what would be a great sign is if a mass of milkweed seeds came at me….laughing to myself. Later that day, I was driving and up ahead there was a massive plume of smoke flowing across the road. I remember thinking how lucky I was that I had my windows closed and air-conditioner on. As I came to the plume, I let out a screech of happiness. I just got my sign….it wasn’t a plume of smoke but rather a massive cloud of milkweed seeds encompassing the car!!! The cloud was so big that as you drove towards it, you couldn’t see through it to the other side. I couldn’t wipe the smile off my face all day. I had never experienced anything like it and haven’t again to this day.

Once you have one thing happen, experiences can come fast and plenty of them. The same day driving on my way home, I decided that everything Pam Grout was talking about was fact and that I can influence the world around me by truly believing. So as I drove home, I decided I wanted all green lights. I didn’t want to have to stop until I got to the corner shops near my home. Low and behold, as I approached each set of lights, they were either already green or went from red to green just before I would have to slow down. I remember laughing about it and feeling fantastic. As I got to the corner shops, I decided I would find a parking spot right outside the pharmacy, where I needed to go. As I turned into the parking lot, there were cars waiting for spots everywhere. It was extremely busy. I was so happy with my milkweed seeds and green lights that I didn’t let that phase me and headed towards the pharmacy. As I turned the corner, I let out a huge screech of surprise (loud enough, that it shocked a man who was walking beside the car……lol) Right there, in front of the pharmacy was a parking spot, yet none of the other cars, who were all fighting over other car parks had seen it. Thank you, FP!!!! To top it all off, I told the FP, that I would like to win something on my lotto ticket and I did. I won $21.00.

That was the beginning of my E-Squared journey. What will yours be?

The following excerpt is taken directly from E-Square by Pam Grout –

“To do this experiment properly, you have to set aside skepticism. Not forever, just for 48 short hours. All you have to do is spend two measly days expecting to see proof. Expect to see the dude in living colour. Expect it with your whole heart. Expect it with every ounce of your soul. Like any good hypothesis, this one if falsifiable. If you don’t hear from the FP in 48 hours, feel free to write it off.”

  1. Pick a time to start the experiment. “Now” usually works for me.
  2. Jot down the time and the date.
  3. Ask the FP to make its presence known. Ask for a blessing. If you like, repeat “intention” or “approach” listed on the following lab report sheet. Or make up your own.

That’s it. Let go. And observe.

Here is the First Experiment as taken directly from E-Squared by Pam Grout. It is important to note that you can do this experiment anytime during the next seven days (as long you give it only 48 hours). In Pam’s words…..

Lab Report Sheet

The Principle: The Dude Abides Principle

The Theory: There is an invisible energy force or field of infinite possibilities. And it’s yours for the asking.

The Question: Does the FP exist?

The Hypothesis: If there’s a 24/7 energy force equally available to everyone, I can access it at any time simply by paying attention. Furthermore, if I ask the force for a blessing, giving it a specific time frame and clear instructions, it’ll send me a gift and say, “My pleasure.”

Time Required: 48 hours

Today’s Date:

Deadline for Receiving Gift:

The Approach: I hate to break it to ya, FP, but folks are starting to talk. They’re starting to wonder, “Is this guy for real?” I mean, really, like it’d be so much skin off your chin to come down here and call off this crazy hide-and-seek thing you’ve been playing. I”m giving you exactly 48 hours to make your presence known. I want a thumbs-up, a clear sign, something that cannot be written off as a coincidence.

Research Notes:

End of Experiment.

Just a quick note that this can work exactly the same in the negative sense. To give you an example, yesterday I woke up, not in the brightest of moods and a bit scattered. I won’t go into too much detail, only to say that my day was made up of this….stubbed my toe, hit my head on the tap, broke two dishes, unexpected bill arrived, left cooked rice in the microwave and only remembered when I was out, rubbish collection ‘forgot’ to pick up our bin, dishwasher broke down, had to throw out my favourite pair of shoes because to top it all off, as I got out of the car I stepped in a massive DOG POO!!! The last one made me laugh so hard, that my day turned around pretty quickly but just making sure that you are aware it can work both ways!

I’ll see you all in one week. Good Luck with your experiment!! In the meantime don’t forget to share your experience either on the blog, Facebook or via email. If you feel inclined, share on all three of them!!! I’ll have my experience in next week’s blog.
